An unseasonably strong front is crossing TAS, NSW & eastern VIC bringing showers and very strong, cold winds, with snow developing about the ranges. A trough is triggering the odd storm over northwest QLD and widespread showers. A low near WA brings showers.

A deep low in the Tasman sea will drive southerly gales and showers across the southeast. Heavy rain and flooding is possible in Gippsland. A trough extending through the country will trigger extensive storms in southern and central WA, northern QLD and the NT.
Monday, 22:00 EDT
A low will drift east towards New Zealnd, cauisng winds and showers to ease over southern VIC and TAS. A trough running through the country will trigger the odd shower or storm, most likely in the far north. A low over southern WA will also trigger showers and storms.
Tuesday, 22:00 EDT
A broad region of low pressure over most of the country will trigger isolated showers, mainly in the interior and northeast. Onshore winds for southwest WA will bring showers. A ridge of high pressure protruding into the Tasman sea will help to keep most of the southeast dry.
Wednesday, 22:00 EDT
Moist unstable air over the tropics will trigger showers and storms. Warm and humid northerly winds will trigger afternoon showers and storms in eastern QLD and northeast NSW. A trough in SA will trigger the odd shower or storm while onshore winds maintain showers in southern WA.
Thursday, 22:00 EDT
Warm humid northerly winds, will trigger isolated showers across the eastern inland and QLD coast. The odd shower or storm will be triggered to the west of the trough in SA and western NSW. Onshore winds will bring showers to much of the southern coastline.
Friday, 22:00 EDT
A cold front passing through the southeast will bring widespread rain, particularly on the coast and ranges. A trough across QLD will cause isolated showers and storms. Mostly dry in the west due to a developing high.
